der Bricking Bavaria e.V. lädt Euch herzlich zur zwanzigsten LEGO Ausstellung mit Fan-Event unter dem Namen “Bricking Bavaria” ein! Dieses Mal werden wir vom 31.10 bis 3.11 2024 mit unserem Event „Bricking Bavaria 2024“ alleiniger Veranstalter in Fürth/Nürnberg sein. (Aufbau ist am 31.10.).

• Donnerstag, 31.10. – Aufbautag (Keine Besucher)
• Freitag, 01.11. – AFOL-Tag speziell für registrierte Teilnehmer (Keine Besucher)
• Samstag 02.11. – Öffentliche Ausstellung
• Sonntag, 03.11. – Öffentliche Ausstellung

Die Stadthalle Fürth bietet uns mit über 3000 Quadratmeter viel Platz für viele tolle Modelle. Das wird mit etwa 300 erwarteten AFOLs und TFOLs eine der größten LEGO® Fan-Ausstellungen des Jahres in Deutschland! (#BrickingBavaria2024).

Jeder darf mitmachen – ob Vereinsmitglied oder nicht!

Dieses Jahr ist ein besonderes Jahr. Wir feiern ein Jubiläum das unter dem Motto „20“ steht!
Seit nunmehr 20 Jahren finden Ausstellungen von Bricking Bavaria statt und gleichzeitig wird Fürth die 20ste Ausstellung mit dem Namen „Bricking Bavaria“ sein.

• Einen AFOL-Tag (freitags!) mit Rahmenprogramm nur für Aussteller (keine Besucher)

Es stehen 250 Tiefgaragen-Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Für Aussteller bekommen wir Vergünstigungen für das Parkticket. Informationen folgen.

Die Ausstellung ist über die U-Bahn zu erreichen. Die Haltestelle „Stadthalle“ liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Stadthalle Fürth.

Modelle und Gemeinschaftsanlagen

Wir freuen uns auf viele schöne Modelle für die Ausstellung! Wie immer gibt es einige Gruppen von LEGO-Leuten, die gemeinsam an einem MOC oder einer Gemeinschaftsanlage arbeiten. Bei der Registrierung Eures Modells könnt Ihr jeweils angeben, ob Euer Modell Teil einer solchen Gemeinschaftsanlage ist oder nicht. Hier sind die bisher bekannten Gemeinschaftsprojekte:

Gaming Area:

Ihr habt Spiele jeglicher Art (Gesellschaftsspiele, Brettspiele, Kartenspiele usw.) aus LEGO Steinen gebaut oder zum Thema LEGO?
Dann meldet Euer Spiel für die Gemeinschaftsanlage „Gaming Area“ an. Am besucherfreien Tag richten wir im Bistrobereich eine „Gaming Area“ für Eure Spiele ein.
Habt Ihr eine Idee für einen Wettbewerb oder Turnier mit Eurem Spiel? Meldet Euch bei uns!
Am Samstag und Sonntag verlegen wir die „Gaming Area“ in den Aufenthaltsbereich. Wenn Ihr wollt dass Euer Spiel auch von den Besuchern gespielt werden kann ergänzt das bitte in der Registrierung.

Wir wollen Euch auch dieses Jahr bitten hinsichtlich der ausgestellten Modelle einige Bedingungen zu berücksichtigen.

• Bitte verzichtet auf MOCs, die religiöse, politische oder gesellschaftliche Meinungen vertreten.
• Ebenso können wir keine MOCs mit neuzeitlichen militärischen und kriegsdarstellenden Inhalten erlauben. Unter neuzeitlich verstehen wir das 20. und 21. Jahrhundert.
• Modelle aus Klemmbausteinen alternativer Hersteller sind nicht erwünscht. Custom-Ergänzungen wie z.B. Minifigs, Beleuchtungen oder Motorisierungen sind erlaubt.
• Wir behalten uns bei allen Beiträgen vor, sie ohne Angabe von Gründen, nicht für die Ausstellung zuzulassen.

Wir hoffen auf Euer Verständnis und bitten Euch das bei der Anmeldung Eurer MOCs zu berücksichtigen.

Dienste

Damit die Veranstaltung gelingen kann, benötigen wir Eure Mithilfe. Wir erwarten von allen Ausstellern und Helfern, dass sie mindestens einen Dienst während der Veranstaltung übernehmen. Gelegenheiten gibt es bei Aufbau, Transport, Aufsicht, Verkauf, usw.

Hotel

Neben der Stadthalle Fürth befindet sich das „Holiday Inn Express Fürth“. In diesem Hotel ist nur für Aussteller ein großes Zimmerkontingent blockiert. Informationen zum Hotel erhalten alle Aussteller im Rahmen der Registrierung.

Selbstverständlich könnt Ihr auch in anderen Hotels übernachten. Informationen zu Hotels findet Ihr in verschiedenen Portalen wie booking.com usw..

Aufbau

Der Aufbau von Modellen ist am Donnerstag, den 31.10., von 10 Uhr bis 21 Uhr möglich.

Der Aufbau wird von AFOLs betreut, die von uns als sogenannte “Supervisor” mit Plänen und Telefon ausgerüstet werden. Diese sind Eure ersten Ansprechpartner, wenn Ihr irgendwelche Fragen habt (wo aufbauen, wohin mit den leeren Kisten, wo ist das Klo, wo gibt’s was zu essen, …). Die Namen der Supervisor könnt Ihr dem Dienstplan entnehmen. Die Telefonnummer ist immer gleich:

Zusätzlich hängen wir in der Halle Pläne und MOC-Listen aus, so dass ihr die Position eurer Modelle schnell findet. Zusätzlich befinden sich auf den Tischen und Podesten Markierungen und die Nummern eurer Modelle.

Denkt auch daran, dass wir die bereitgestellten Podeste und Tische selbst mit Abdeckungen versehen müssen. Dafür bitte extra Zeit einplanen und den anderen Ausstellern helfen! Auch beim Verteilen der Absperrungen zählen wir auf die Mithilfe der Aussteller.

Lagerung von Kartons

Alle Teilnehmer werden gebeten, ihr Verpackungsmaterial möglichst in den eigenen Fahrzeugen zu lagern. Wir dürfen nichts unter den Tischen bzw. Podesten lagern. Wir haben auch keinen separaten Lagerraum. Unser Aufenthaltsraum darf nur für Material verwendet werden, das während der Ausstellung benötigt wird.

Also bitte: Kartons zurück in die Autos! Danke.

Abbau

Der Abbau kann erst am Sonntag, 3.11., ab 17:15 Uhr erfolgen. Wer unbedingt früher gehen muss, der möge das bitte bei der Anmeldung gleich im Bemerkungsfeld mitteilen. Die betroffenen Modelle werden auf spezielle Flächen eingeplant.

Registrierung vor Ort

Alle Teilnehmer werden gebeten, sich bitte am ersten Tag (Donnerstag) an der Registrierungsstelle zu melden, um sich zu registrieren. Wir haben die Eintrittskarten und ein paar Kleinigkeiten für Euch. Bitte entnehmt die Uhrzeit für die Registrierung dem Programm.

Aufenthaltsraum

Unser Aufenthaltsbereich steht allen Teilnehmern von BB2024 zur Verfügung. Ihr könnt dort Eure persönlichen Sachen lassen (ACHTUNG: Keine Haftung für Wertsachen) – jedoch bitte keine Leerkartons von MOCs! Der Zutritt ist nur Teilnehmern (Ausstellern, Helfern und Begleitpersonen) von BB2024 gestattet! Bitte haltet den Raum sauber.

Rahmenprogramm

Am Freitag, den AFOL-Tag ohne Besucher, wollen wir für alle Teilnehmer ein abwechslungsreiches Rahmenprogramm zusammenstellen. Dafür stehen uns z.T. separate Räumlichkeiten zur Verfügung.

Dafür benötigen wir auch Eure Hilfe!

Wenn Ihr ein Thema vorstellen wollt, dann gebt das bitte bei Eurer Anmeldung mit an oder meldet Euch per Mail bei uns. Beispiele könnten z.B. sein: Digitales Bauen, Brickfilme, Bautechniken, Digitalisierung der Eisenbahn, Beleuchtungsworkshop o.ä.

Verpflegung

Wir werden den Ausstellern und Helfern während der Ausstellung an allen Tagen Snacks und Getränke in unserem Aufenthaltsraum zur Verfügung stellen. Wer hierzu einen Beitrag leisten will (Kuchen, Salat, …) ist herzlich willkommen! Bitte habt Verständnis dafür, dass die Verpflegung nur für Teilnehmer und nicht für Besucher bereitgestellt wird.

AFOLs-Abend

Am Samstag, den 02.11., ab 19:30 Uhr werden wir den traditionellen AFOLs-Abend veranstalten. Der Zutritt ist nur für geladene Gäste möglich. Wir bitten Euch und Eure Begleitpersonen daher im Vorfeld über unsere Webseite anzugeben, ob ihr dabei sein werdet. Essen und Getränke zahlt jeder selbst. Es gibt dafür Spiele und Goodies für alle :).

Auch für Freitag, den 01.11. planen wir ein gemeinsames Abendessen.

Beide Abendveranstaltungen finden wieder in der Stadthalle Fürth statt.

Verkäufer / Kommissionsverkauf

Aus genehmigungsrechtlichen Gründen werden dieses Mal keine gewerblichen Händler dabei sein können. Lediglich der vereinseigene BB-Verkaufsstand kann betrieben werden. Dabei haben Teilnehmer die Möglichkeit, Ware auf Kommissionsbasis anzubieten.

Die Anmeldung für den Kommissionsverkauf erfolgt nach der Registrierung und wird rechtzeitig bekannt gegeben.

MOC-Karten

MOC-Karten sind Beschreibungen der einzelnen Modelle für die Besucher. Sie enthalten Informationen zum Modell, dem Erbauer, der Zahl der verwendeten Steine und der Bauzeit. Wir bitten Euch solche MOC-Karten für Eure Modelle anzufertigen. Hier könnt Ihr einheitliche Dokumentvorlagen herunterladen. Wir stellen Euch während der Veranstaltung Plexiglasaufsteller zur Verfügung, die für DIN-A5-MOC-Karten verwendet werden können.

Es gibt zwei Varianten von MOC-Karten: kleine und große. Die Kleinen eignen sich besonders für MOCs, die Teil einer Gemeinschaftsanlage sind.

Dear friends of the LEGO® brick,

the Bricking Bavaria e.V. invites you to the twentieth LEGO exhibition with fan event under the name “Bricking Bavaria”! This time we will be the sole organizer of our event “Bricking Bavaria 2024” in Fürth/Nuremberg from October 31 to November 3, 2024. (Setup is on 31.10.).

• Thursday, 31.10. – Set-up day (no public visitors)
• Friday, 01.11. – AFOL day especially for registered participants (no public visitors)
• Saturday 02.11. – public exhibition
• Sunday, 03.11. – public exhibition

The Stadthalle Fürth offers us with over 3000 square meters a lot of space for many great models. With around 300 AFOLs and TFOLs expected, this will be one of the biggest LEGO® fan exhibitions of the year in Germany! (#BrickingBavaria2024)

This year is a special year. We are celebrating an anniversary under the motto “20”!
Bricking Bavaria exhibitions have been taking place for 20 years now and at the same time Fürth will be the 20th exhibition with the name “Bricking Bavaria”.

Models and community layouts

We are looking forward to many beautiful models for the exhibition! As always, there are some groups of people working together on a MOC or community layout. When registering your model, you can indicate whether your model is part of such a community layout or not.

Here are the known community projects:

Gaming Area:

Have you built games of any kind (board games, card games, etc.) with LEGO bricks or on the theme of LEGO?
Then register your game for the communal “Gaming Area”.
On the visitor-free day, we will set up a “Gaming Area” for your games in the bistro area. Do you have an idea for a competition or tournament with your game? Get in touch with us!
On Saturday and Sunday we will move the “Gaming Area” to the lounge area. If you want your game to be played by visitors, please add this to the registration form.

We would like to ask you again this year to consider some conditions regarding the exhibited models.

• Please refrain from MOCs that represent religious, political or social opinions.
• Also we can not allow MOCs with modern military and war representing content. By modern we mean the 20th and 21st centuries.
• Models made from bricks from alternative manufacturers are not welcome. Custom additions such as minifigs, lighting or motorization are allowed.
• For all entries we reserve the right not to admit them to the show without giving reasons.

We hope for your understanding and ask you to consider this when registering your MOCs.

Duty rooster

In order for the event to succeed, we need your help. We expect all exhibitors and helpers to take on at least one duty during the event. Opportunities are available in set-up, transportation, supervision, sales, etc.

Hotel 

The “Holiday Inn Express Fürth” is located next to the Stadthalle Fürth.
A large contingent of rooms has been reserved at this hotel for exhibitors only.
All exhibitors will receive information about the hotel when they register.

Of course you can also stay in other hotels. You can find information on hotels in various portals such as booking.com etc..

Setup

Models can be placed on the tables on Thursday, 31.10., from 10 am to 9 pm.

The setup will be supervised by AFOLs, who will be equipped with plans and mobile phones as so-called “supervisors”. They are your first contact persons if you have any questions (where to set up, where to put the empty boxes, where is the toilet, where to get food, …). You can find the names of the supervisors in the duty roster. The phone number will always be the same.

In addition, we will display plans and MOC lists in the hall so that you can quickly find the position of your models. There are also markings and the numbers of your models on the tables and podiums.

 Also remember that we have to cover the provided podiums and tables ourselves. Please allow extra time for this and help the other exhibitors! We also count on the help of the exhibitors to set up the barriers.

Storage of cardboards

All participants are asked to store their packaging material in their own vehicles. We are not allowed to store anything under the tables or platforms. We also do not have a separate storage room. Our lounge may only be used for material needed during the exhibition.

So please: Put your cardboards back into the cars! Thank you.

Dismantling

Dismantling can only take place on Sunday, Nov. 3rd, starting at 5:15 pm. If you have to leave earlier, please let us know right away in the comments field when you register. The affected models will be placed at special areas.

Registration at the event

All participants are requested to register at the registration desk in the entrance area on the first day (Thursday). We have the tickets and a few small items. Please check the program for the registration time.

Lounge / common room

Our common area is available for all BB2024 participants. You can leave your personal stuff there (ATTENTION: No liability for valuable) – but please no empty boxes of MOCs! Access is only allowed to participants (exhibitors, helpers and accompanying persons) of BB2024!

Please keep the room clean.

Program

On Friday, the AFOL day without visitors, we want to put together a varied social program for all participants. For this we have partly separate rooms available.

For this we also need your help!

If you want to present a topic, please mention it in your registration or contact us by mail. Examples could be: Digital building, brick movies, building techniques, digitalization of the railroad, lighting workshop or similar.

Catering

We will provide snacks and drinks in our lounge for exhibitors and helpers during the exhibition on all days. Who wants to contribute to this (cake, salad, …) is very welcome! Please understand that food will only be provided for participants and not for visitors.

AFOLs Evening

On Saturday, 2.11., starting at 7:30pm, we will host the traditional AFOLs evening. Admission is for invited guests only. We therefore ask you and your companions to indicate in advance via our website whether you will be present or not. Food and drinks are on everyone’s own. But there will be games and goodies for everyone. :).

Also for Friday, 1.11. we are planning a dinner together.

More information will follow.

Both evening events will again take place in the Stadthalle Fürth.

Seller / commission sale

Due to licensing reasons, no commercial vendors will be able to attend this time. Only the club’s own BB sales booth can be operated. Participants have the possibility to offer goods on commission basis.

The registration for the commission sale will take place after the registration and will be announced in time.

MOC Cards

MOC cards are descriptions of individual models for visitors. They contain information about the model, the builder, the number of bricks are used and the construction time. We ask you to create such MOC cards for your models. Here you can download standard document templates.  During the event we will provide you plexiglass displays that can be used for DIN A5 MOC cards.

There are two types of MOC cards: small and large. The small ones are especially suitable for MOCs that are part of community projects.

Program
